analog vs. digital: or should i keep my records?
one of the goals of this project is to teach a bit of musical appreciation for
electronic music as an artform. to say that it is simply the rehashing of other
forms of music denys the musician (whether machine or human) their inspiration. what
is music without the muse? or to go one step further music is the muse and he musician
together as one. as an observer of the system the musician is made up of music (muse)
and creates it at the same time.
music is potential as art comes in all forms: sound waves, digital and even
visual...using the music in a digital form many mp3 players create visual
effects by decoding music's patterns and changes.
